Acoustic Forum:
The Acoustic forum is well-established as and unofficial curtain-raiser for the Pub Trail. Three or four of the festival artists are invited to each give a short performance and to allow space for a discussion on their style, influences, or whatever they want! This informal and relaxed setting can often lead to very open performances, or spontaneous improvisations between musicians. The aim is to learn about the player's musical philosophy, as well as hearing them play in a very intimate surrounding.
The forum this year will be hosted by The West Cork Ukulele Orchestra's Kevin McNally and feature Richard Gilewitz, Marc O'Reilly and more
